Nazi Troll “Char Gasemall” Unmasked as Charleen Ryan of Villa Hills, Kentucky #LOS #UTR #TwitterTrolls

Original thread can be found here.

Meet neo-Nazi and Unite the Right attendee Charleen Ryan (63) aka “Char Gasemall” from Villa Hills, Kentucky! #LOSBlondeShadesUTR

This dedicated League of the South member mingles with some of the worst racists on X/Twitter. #IgniteTheRight

Though “Char Gasemall” captured our attention with her name referencing the gas chambers of the Holocaust, we more recently learned she used a different name thanks to an old tweet from @socialistdogmom. Char, it turns out, had several accounts.

On Gab, we located a “Charleen” account with an interesting profile photo. The image showed a black vest with the black and white League of the South patch, and below it, another patch with a hint: Kentucky.

Next, we checked archives of the oldest Twitter account (@/CharleenRyan4) for more hints. The archives showed the old public profile information for “Charleen Ryan” of Villa Hills, Kentucky.

We found a woman with that name in that location, but we still needed a face… And then a DUI arrest record for a Charleen M. Ryan in nearby Boone County, Kentucky was located. Could this be the one?

Now that we had a face, we could search for photos of this proud internet Nazi at Unite the Right.

Hello #LOSBlondeShadesUTR. We found you.

Charleen Ryan of Kentucky traveled quite a bit with the League of the South group. Here is a dreary meetup in Knoxville, Tennessee, where they protested… a brick wall?

We spy a vest that is similar to a profile photo.

We also caught a glimpse of Charleen’s blonde fringe behind a National Socialist Movement banner at a “White Lives Matter” rally in Shelbyville, Tennessee.

League of the South was officially banned from Charlottesville after UTR and has greatly diminished its street presence. In the meantime, Charleen Ryan has become much more active online. On Gab, she likes to post Nazi stuff. Typical, Hitler-worshiping genocidal stuff.

Charleen rarely posts her own content on X to avoid being suspended again. Instead, this serial ban evader constantly boosts some of the worst nazis and racist trolls on the site, including associates of “The Shed”.  (h/t @murphtracks for data)

While we could wrap this thread up here, Charleen’s social media boosting presents an interesting case study demonstrating how hate movement members are connected in the online world.

Let’s take a peek at more Gab and Twitter/X reposts.

Of course, Charleen frequently shares content from fellow LOS members. Here is Michael Hill, founder of League of the South, who spent years traveling with the hate group to rallies and protests across the country. (h/t @hatewatch for extremist files)

LOS member Robert “Bob” Isaacs aka “Ike Baker” has shown up on Charleen’s timeline, another one who frequented on-the-ground events.

As well as Pat Hines, the South Carolina chairman of LOS, who has been reduced to a smouldering pile of racist and antisemitic memes.

Charleen reposts LOS member William Finck, a violent convicted felon. In 1989, Bill Finck beat a handcuffed Puerto Rican inmate to death while he was a jail guard. Finck was sentenced to 14 years in prison.

Then there’s Bradley Dean Griffin aka “Hunter Wallace” aka “Occidental Dissent”, another organizer for League of the South who spent much of his time writing online.

Charleen shared some antisemitism from Christopher John Andrukaitis aka “Marcus Cicero”, who was at UTR. Andrukaitis has a long track record, including an incident where he stabbed his own mother in the head.

There is a repost for neo-Nazi Robert Warren Ray aka “Azzmador” who is currently a fugitive on the run for his role in Charlottesville. Ray is so awful even his lawyer dumped him.

Charleen re-Gabbed a post for /pol/ News Network, another Twitter personality whose identity was revealed as Unite the Right attendee Logan Smith. #LightGreenHatUTR
Smith’s accounts have gone quiet since his identification.

Charleen reposts Ryan Dumperth aka “Woe” aka “Eschatologuy” who led a fascist segment of the Lutheran church. He also had a notorious online presence alongside an earlier version of “The Shed” trolling group.

Charleen retweets Kevin Alfred Strom, the Nazi who wrote the “to know who rules over you” quote. Strom was previously imprisoned on child porn charges.

We noticed another familiar name reposted on neo-Nazi Charleen Ryan’s Gab account… Christopher Reinders aka “Zanting” of Nova Scotia made an appearance. Hello again.

The unmasking of Charleen Ryan has been long overdue, and while she isn’t a very creative white supremacist on her own, the company she keeps is particularly vile.

Thank you to all of the AFA researchers and to @UnmaskUTR for making this thread possible. #WeProtectUs
