Christian Balanda of Ada & Grand Rapids, Michigan Identified as J6er and Groyper “Michigan Zoomer”

Meet racist groyper Christian Conner Balanda aka “Michigan Zoomer” from Ada Township, Michigan! This #J6 participant was one of Nick Fuentes’s “top guys”, was involved in the political campaign for Rep. John Gibbs, and is now a “Director of Youth Ministry” in Grand Rapids.

 

 

Christian Balanda, operating under the pseudonym “Michigan Zoomer,” fervently identified as a committed groyper within the America First movement. For those unacquainted, “Groypers” constitute followers of white supremacist Nick Fuentes, characterized by racist, antisemitic, and misogynistic beliefs. On the digital front, Mich Zoomer actively promoted figures such as Nick Fuentes and Anthime Gionet (Baked Alaska), alongside other far-right political personalities. Offline, Christian Balanda has traveled to attend numerous America First events, and is fairly easy to spot due to his tall stature.

 

In November 2020, Balanda was present at a small America First “Stop the Steal” rally in Lansing, Michigan, positioned behind Nick Fuentes on the steps of the Capitol building.

 

Balanda was among other orbiters of Nick Fuentes when he stormed the Capitol during the insurrection on January 6th, 2021.

 

 

Balanda joined groypers in Orlando, Florida for an attempted interruption of CPAC in February, 2021 resulting in getting ejected from the building. You can see Balanda in multiple photos and videos from the event, including the one where Matt Evans (Beardson Beardly) throws a Nazi salute as the Nick Fuentes crew drives away from the convention.

 

 

Balanda traveled to Springfield, Illinois to attend an America First-related antivaxxer event in October, 2021, and can be seen mingling with fellow Michigander Connor Mitchell Banks (Jiu-Jitsu Groyper).

 

 

As recently as this year, Christian Balanda was seen acting as security and photo taker for Fuentes at a racist, post-CPAC Nick Fuentes conference in a Washington, DC hotel.

 

 

THE TRACE

Thanks to some sort of disagreement between Ethan Ralph and Nick Fuentes, Ethan decided to dox multiple groypers in Nick’s inner circle. While Balanda’s ID has been known to anyone who watched the drama go down, we still wanted to confirm the information for ourselves and see what else he was up to.

 

 

 

Christian made it easy for us, though, because he was not particularly tight with his personal details. You can see a photo of his shoes in an archive posted to a Michigan Zoomer account which perfectly match the shoes he wore while campaigning for John Gibbs, posted to Gibbs’s campaign Facebook page.

 

 

 

 

During the January 6 insurrection, Michigan Zoomer posted a video to his Twitter timeline showing his approximate location on the Capitol grounds. A photo of Christian Balanda surfaced showing him in the same location.

 

 

 

Balanda posted photos of Nick Fuentes to his BabyY0ba Twitter account from the same position that we saw him standing in while he was in Orlando.

 

 

 

That account was also a repurposed account that used to be under the handle “@ChristianCB71“. When searching for this handle in Twitter search, you can see a reply to the @BabyY0BA account appear.

 

 

This is also verified by looking at the user ID (1519306454053888007) in the source code of the archives.

 


 

Balanda couldn’t help but tell on himself whenever he was at Nick Fuentes events.

 

 

It was also helpful that fellow America First activist Connor Banks aka “Jiu-Jitsu Groyper” posted Christian’s face to his Instagram, so we knew he was associated.

While Christian Balanda has seemingly disappeared from the Groyper scene after Ethan Ralph doxed him, he was still incredibly active and incredibly racist, antisemitic, and misogynistic online up until that point. A Telegram channel he created for sharing Nick Fuentes clips has also still been active, with new reposts as November 28th, 2023.

 

 

 

According to conversations revealed in the Poast breach earlier this year, Mich Zoomer was said to be involved in other groyper Telegram channels and group chats, including one he co-operated with Wade Searle (Chikken / ChikkenRight / Chicken Right), who was recently unmasked as one of Rep Paul Gosar’s top aides.

ACTIVISM

With all of the racism Balanda displays online, it seems pretty clear to us that his political campaign work for John Gibbs was part of the “groyper” infiltration of mainstream politics that Nick Fuentes regularly encourages.  According to Balanda,  they “ARE INFILTRATING AT EVERY LEVEL”.

 

 

 

 

It is also extremely concerning to us that Christian Balanda works with minors and women at his current job as a Director of Youth Ministry, given his misogyny, hate, and track record of adamantly supporting Holocaust-denying white supremacists.
